Data controller

East Village Consulting AB, operator of Börsnotera.se, is the controller. Contact william.ostby@borsnotera.se.

When we collect information

We collect information when you submit a contact form, complete a quick assessment and request the full assessment, or request a checklist, decision tree, timeline, document list or other material from the resource library. The information may include your name, email address, phone number, company, preferred timetable, message, assessment answers and the resource requested.

Source and campaign information

When you submit a form, we may also retain the landing page, referring website and UTM parameters. This information helps us understand which channel resulted in the enquiry and is sent to us only when you submit the form. We may also process limited technical security information to prevent spam and abuse.

Purpose and legal basis

We use the information to deliver and record the assessment or resource requested, administer and follow up your enquiry, assess whether we can provide relevant services and protect the forms from abuse. Processing is generally based on our legitimate interest in responding to and administering business enquiries. Where relevant to a potential engagement, processing may also be necessary to take steps before entering into a contract. A resource request does not subscribe you to a newsletter or recurring direct marketing; that use requires a separate legal basis.

Automated assessment

The quick-assessment result is calculated automatically from the three answers submitted. It is high-level guidance only and has no legal or similarly significant effect on you or the company. An engagement and an actual assessment always require a separate individual review.

Retention

Information from forms and quick assessments is normally retained for no more than 24 months from the latest contact or material request. We erase it earlier where it is no longer needed or when you request erasure and there is no legal reason to retain it. If the contact leads to an engagement, information is instead processed and retained according to the requirements and needs applicable to client and matter records.

Recipients and suppliers

Technical suppliers may process information on our behalf, for example for hosting, data storage, email delivery and automated transfer into our internal workflows. Such processing should be covered by data-processing agreements. If a supplier processes information outside the EU/EEA, the transfer must be supported by a permitted transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards. Information is otherwise not disclosed unless required by law or necessary to handle your enquiry.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or erasure, object to processing and, in some cases, request restriction or portability. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection. Contact us using the address above to exercise your rights.
